I'm with you on the quality of the Northgates*, but my 102s latch up on
several of my machines.  Tragedy.

*Pets and spouses who are noise-sensitive must be isolated from the
machine-gun rattle of Alps keyswitches on good plastic, however.

I just threw out my last two 83-key XT boards, when I realized I'd junked
the last 386 with special XT keyboard BIOS nine years ago.  I still have
two PS/2 boards here, old enough to not have winkeys, and one AT-84.
