I've heard a bunch of urban legends about this, but all seem to come down
to some sort of dietary deficiency.  I'd
consult my vet to get the real straight dope on this one.
I"ve never had an ongoing problem with my dogs on this one,
so couldn't give you a straight answer, and sort of allowed
the urban legends to go in one ear and out the other.  But
all point in the same general direction so I'd discuss my
dog's diet with my vet, see if he or she has any
suggestions.
