AN> 3Com 8-bit cards or 1 3com and one no name.

AN> this way!
Sorry, cant help but suggest YOU and others keep records of (at least) all
your outgoing mail and possibly all incoming mail addressed to you. This
way you dont forget who you are communicating with, what it is you are
selling (some do) and how much you are selling (or buying) it for.
I have seen messages in this (and other) Echo's going back and forth over a
period of time haggling over a price or some minor item and then after many
messages one of the parties say's "What was it you are selling, I've
forgotten" or "How much was it you were asking, I've
forgotten" or similar.
I see this occuring time after time.
If records are kept this sort of confusion would not occur and you would
know who it was that you sent your bits to. Methinks you could write them
off, make sure in future this type of deal is between "KNOWN
RELIABLE" users of this echo, not someone unknown to you. After
reading this Echo for a while one gets to know the regular reliable users
in this Echo.
