why not something along the lines of British Airways fuel management
policies were shown to be seriously flawed when one of its 777
aircraft ran out of fuel 100 yards short of the runway after a long
flight from china?

I know the fall out in the eyes of the public would be too great to
state the bleeding obvious.

flamers please tell me how much fuel was in the aircraft and why after
extensive damage to the engines there was no fire.
