Rocca died on March 15, 1975 at the age of 49.  A few weeks later, Joe 
Garagiola (SP?) did a commentary on how shitty (my word, not his) it was 
that the mainstream sports press ignored his death.

I didn't realize that he was that young until I read it today  .  I 
remember him boasting that he would live to 150.
