As long as you are hale and hearty and your home is in one piece, you can
say you dodged the bullet. We acknowledge that the hurricane hit Houma.

I'd agree with you. We've been watching footage of Ike coming ashore all
day. Were you hit by the projected rains and gusts?

I think Ms. Palin is just a bit too naive for a vice presidential candidate
but she sure is interesting.
