Even that requires that the "humour" is detected as such in the first place.
And what is humour to one, may be prejudice, racism, sexism or whatever to the
other (causing reactions probably perceived pertinent).

I have a couple of colleagues from Australia, and relatives (my grandaunt
emigrated to Australia in the 1950's) living there.
