SH> After the last two weeks, I might take a hurricane. :-) I can understand that. On the other hand, you didn't see the damage hurricane Katrina did up close and personal. The area I lived in at the time (Mandeville), received sustained winds near the eyewall of 175 MPH (280 KPH), with gusts up to 210 MPH (336 KPH). We had lots of tornadoes in that area and they destroyed the place I lived. There was no electricity from the Gulf coast up to the state capital. That was the only place I could get gas for my car. And as you know from the news back then, my home town of New Orleans was under water. A once beautiful city that was living on borrowed time because it's below sea level. It will NEVER be the same. I can't imagine what temps in the -??C are like and don't want to. I would like to visit there when the weather is suitable for a southern man.
