ML> on my OS/2 boxen, with SIO and vmodem, i still use the old DOS Telix ML> version... when i'm on windows, i use either the windows version of ML> QModem or the windows version of Telix... then there's also ML> Hyperterm... I have used hypberterm.. Why is it though you can't log off with it. you just close the window or else it just logs you back on gain when you try to log off the way you do with Telix. ................. ML> the key factor you need for transferring files is that the terminal ML> software you use can handle file transfers encapsulated within the ML> telnet stream... another nice factor is one that can handle ANSI color ML> codes _and_ the "IBM" character set... syncterm does that for imac's? And do macs use the same zmodem sort of protocals and zips like pkzip and pkunzip? ML> if there's a version of syncterm available for the imacs, i'd say give ML> it a try and see if you like it ;) When we go to imacs I will keep it in mind. Thanks.
