   How about a program in which the user keeps a sum of pocket money to which
additional money is added and in which payments of varying amounts may be
recorded reflecting purchases can be made in categories to be set as 
onstants
by the user such as food, cigarettes, groceries, restaurant meals, etc., up 
o
about twenty or thirty categories.  The record would show date, amount of
expenditure, item and category and the program could show at any point the
total of expenditures and refreshing of the fund and the total balance.  
   This could be a model for others trying to learn C++ with classes.
