JB> GP> I dunno about GOOD protein -- now earthworms, there's GOOD
JB> protein!
JB>
JB> So, why haven't we resorted to eating grasshoppers, and alligator by
JB> now?
GP> Grasshoppers? Some do -- honey-roasted, even!
Chocolate covered crickets, escargot... With the doom and gloom scenario we
grew up with, David Suzuki made me think we'd need to eat protein pellets made
from biomass.
GP> And a buddy of min says alligator meat tastes like you're eating a
GP> chewy steak that tastes strongly of fish!
Sounds like the shark I ate. They urinate by perspiration, so there *is* a
necessary boiling and skimming step needed to anything we eat from them.
JB> GP> "up" there? You're in Calgary, ain'tcha? What's "up" about
JB> Calgary,
JB> GP> geographically, morally, OR spiritually? *LOL*
JB>
JB> How about altitude for a starter? Economy for a second. As for the
JB> flakes,
JB> you'll have to visit Banff to see a number of those.
GP> Altitude? Well, considering I'm below sea level here in Richmond I
GP> guess I have to give you that, but you're not above anybody else,
GP> really!
You know not of what you speak. I'd like to think there are only people with
higher values than me, but I see plenty of evidence to the contrary.
GP> Economy, considering I'm in BC, I can't speak on that one either! :P
GP> I've been to Banff -- they can keep the flakes!
I used to have a theory, that the higher you go in elevation, the wackier the
human. Maybe the peaceable air needs to penetrate the Ontarians thick sculls,
but a little more wackiness could do these transplanted A-holes no harm.
.. Give them 2.54 cm, and they'll take 1.6093 km.
