SM>A battery is just a specialized capacitor. The barrel
atteries/capacitors
SM>that most 386 and 486 boards have just hold a charge for a couple of days.
SM>Most new clone motherboards use a CR2046 watch battery.
A battery uses chemical reactions b/w ions and doesn't store current -
it uses chemical energy. A capacitor uses an insulator to store a charge
in one place. There's no chemicals in it. And you can recharge it a lot
easier :)
