The problem is with FD, it only recognises up to 28800 baud ie:
CONNECT 28800, 26400, 22000 etc...
When FD was written that was the highest modem speed, the only other thing it
recognises is the DTE connect, ie the speed you've locked the Com port at.
(19200, 38400, 57600, 64000, 115200).
The way around this problem is first make sure your modem will send the DCE
rate (Actual connect rate) on most Hayes modems that'll be s95=3. Then run
FDSETUP and then goto Modem|Default Settings|Connect Messages. Edit the
38400, and 57600 connect messages to reflect 33600 and 31200.
It's not really a fix but it shall have to do :). I'm not too sure how it
will affect the DTE rate generated, but it should pass the correct DCE rate.
If your running Maximus using your fossil locked then it shall be fine. (Last
sentence to be on topic :)
Cya Mark!
