In Amanda's pre-school last year we used Elmers and water,
about equal parts I think. Pour Elmers into a bowl and add
water while stirring until it feels kinda soupy. We used this
here at home one time to make her some maracas. Water balloons
with a few peas thrown in them before blowing up then just
stick a stick on the tied end and when the paper mache' was
dried stick a long pin into it to pop the balloons. She still
has hers from last spring.
Take care!
