Same here.  I keep wondering where mine comes from since I don't drink.

A couple of my cousins were interested and really into that sort of thing.
Another was into SCUBA diving and doing research on sharks, of all things.
One time he and a friend of his decided to do some research on sharks by
doing a night dive in the Gulf.  I was really surprised they came back.
 
When I moved here back in 1979, I met a pompous individual who was running
a Heath-Zenith computer and was a ham radio enthusiast.

I'd rather do it myself.  I was continuously surprised at the guys who saw
me in my '57 who wanted to race.  The car was an "ice wagon"
below 40MPH, so I would tell them 'Let's "crack on at 40"' and I
always left them in the dust.  Couldn't do that with anyone why had more HP
and a better gear ratio than I had.  (-:
