From: "Glenn Meadows"

It's a bit easier to watermark video than it is to watermark audio, as has
been proven time and time again.

None of the High Resolution audio watermark systems passed listening tests.

The only way to know for sure, if the watermarking is a detriment
(visually, not functionally), is to do extensive visual tests, like the
A/B/X audio tests, where there are an unprotected video picture, a
protected one, and one that is a random selection of either. The viewer
has the ability to view each of the known versions, and then has to pick
which one the "X" one is. Their results are tabulated to
determine how accurately the viewer is able to correctly (or incorrectly)
pick.

Do you think that will ever happen? I doubt it.
