Yeppers. Speed is the key - go slow and it will sink.

Those are small engines and easy to take apart for rod/piston replacement.
Also, it doesn't sink very fast, so I guess the driver usually has time to
shut the engine before it goes underwater.

Maybe there are something like that, I don't know. Never tried it myself ;-)
