Yes, that is correct.
What you are looking at is the calibration movement/adjustment between =
the tuning knob and the tuning knob outer ring.
Swith on calibrator, tune to zero beat, hold knob stationary, then move =
outter ring for the readout to equal zero. (or 25, 50 75 Khz)
You will see that the pin has altered its position...it is only a =
friction grip controlled by the internal rubberised ring sitting between =
the outer knob trim and the first gear of the VFO gear train.
