I'm not sure about this sort of reasenig. I also said that  I never have need 
of such an utiltiy, until the week, that I was working on some source code at 
home, took the compiled code with me to the company, installed it, and forgot 
to backup the source (quit a lot of changes I made). And within a week, my 
harddisk crashed!! The only way (and cheapest one) was to decompile the code 
and copy the changed progams (comments are lost, but it was cheaper).
