SK> come to the conclusion that all-girl math and science courses (at

SK> for a short period of time) can result in higher enrollment of girls
SK> in
SK> these higher math and science courses.
And what happens to those girls when they get to college, unless they go
to a "women's college"?
If HS girls can't take being in Algebra II because of fear of looking bad
in front of boys (or any other reason), is there any reason to believe they
will find college math different? (Particularly if they were "cocooned" in
HS math!) And if they are further "cocooned" in a women's college (many of
which sell themselves with the similar argument that they offer female
students a place to develop on their own without fear of looking bad in front
of boys!), how will the college grad handle a workplace where she must
compete with men?
