Humm...I must not have explained this well enough...
I have the correct driver for my printer and all Windows software prints to
the printer just fine...the only software that does not is ACAD. I guess I
should that stated that I am not on a network we are using a printer share
box that runs in serial mode, it has 8 ports and the computers have cables
connected to it and it to the printer.

Humm...Well if I connect the printer directly to the port on this computer it
prints fine, well..most of the time, however sometimes I get error messages
stating the printer is not ready, when it is. I have tried swapping printers
no luck...I even upgraded the printer to an HP 4 Plus still no luck.

I have plotted to file and it will print if I copy it to the printer from the
DOS prompt, however, that is not the problem...the problem is why doesn't
ACAD use print manager, or print in Windows when, MS-Word, Execl, Quicken,
etc...etc...all work fine?
Thanks for your reply.
