It's not now, why would they change that? All I'm suggesting is that they
treat sony content as a mechanism to sell sony hardware instead of as a
separate division designed to make money only from sale of content.

Imagine how many sites would promote sony hardware if it allowed them to
put sony content on their site for free download to anyone running sony
equipment. A network dvd player would have a major advantage if there were
massive archives on the internet that you could freely access with it,
legally.
