It isn't quite the same as escape, which is why I thought it was probably a bug in the code. It bails out without the confirmation dialog box which escape gets you. Perhaps this was intended as a quick way out. I had no particular hopes or dreams for right mouse, but as a Win95 user I hit right mouse frequently to see what happens.
