Okee dokee. Thanks for the vote of confidence Shawn. SO far we'll be
putting off needing a new puter until something else decides to bite
the dust the way our graphics card did last week.

Let me ask you all something.

In one of too many start ups I noticed a URL in the right hand corner
of the first start up screen rebooting windowsxp.

Okay. I asked hubby what it was (Http:// or whatever that is suppsed
to be.. leadtek.comtw

He said it is the graphics card developer's site. ah hah! And when I
did get desktop back it was just pixel colors.. so I figure hmm must
be the card.

SO new card. URL is no longer there, but then of course it's not the
card of the developer of the first one.

We do have an error message with this card but Hubby says something
isn't matched just right so ignore it as long as it is working and it
is working.

I wonder if the mis match is due to the fact tho we have this nice
skinny monitor it's at analog mode because we don't have a digital
card. And that could be the mismatch.

The font is a little bigger comic sans and so much easier to read..
not too big, but not too small... and no distortion of window frames
etc. The only thing is the scroll is a little choppy rather than
smooth. I guess that's part of the mis match problem.

So far so good tho! :)

Cindy
