   First the Government has to define a target. It's weapons
   of mass destruction can't be used against the general
   public. this would generate more civil unrest and make a few
   more freedom fighters "magically appear".
   on the other hand if you are a freedom fighter you first have
   to realize that you should never fight a governments army,
   You assasinate it's leaders.  This is obvious if you look
   into other countries like isreal and No. Ireland where it
   is happening more and more often.  look at the mob wars we
   had here early in this century.

   It's easier to buy a Hot weapon than it is to buy a legal one

   Our founding Fathers had just freed themselves from an opressive
   government that tried to ban and confiscate their weapons, they
   also had no illusions that we may have to do it again. Why would
   they not want us armed to take caare of the opressive governments
   that they clearly saw in our future? (read the federalist papers,
    very good reading)

   The easiest way for a government to keep you subserviant is to
   dictate to you what you can own, do, say,when, where, how, and why
   do you get the picture yet?  This is not freedom.
   once again they have forgotten "We The People"
