Okay. The only cosmic body big/bright (reflective) enough to be seen
'next to' as it were, a full mooon has to be Jupiter? That is when you
look up and see the full mooon, a finger held up in your visual feild
next to the moon- there it is.. In the same visual field.

That sounds right. :) I don't mean actual nearness, I mean as in
how/where we see them in the sky.

Remember whenwe were suppsed to be able to see Mars? It looked pink
to me.

The trees are in the way for any horizon views. In Texas you had huge
skyscape but would need to get away from the city lights to see
anything but the full mooon and venus and of course, bu dau the sun
It was in Texas I first say the moon at the same time the Sun was up
(past 7 am in the summer).. that was awesome. I can't say how many
degrees above the horizone it was oh let's see... facing south and the
moon to the west I'd say it was about half way betrween the horizon
and stright up.
