TO>I see those parties as the same as well. Military Democrats? That
TO>would seem to be a contradiction in terms, but I hadn't really
TO>thought about it before. I never know who to vote for in the primaries,
TO>so I have never done so either.
Tell ya what I did this year. I voted Democrat. and voted for
some Goofball I have never heard of before that had no chance
of winning, however it was a vote against Clinton in his home
state. By the time the Arkansas primaries ran there was no
doubt who would win the nomination so voting republican was moot.
TO> NP> When it comes to congressional and local elections, who you vote for
TO> NP> is important. Your vote counts, and it may well be your vote that
TO> NP> makes the decision. I'm much more inclined for vote damage control
TO> NP> there, if I consider the damage control worthwhile. If both
candidates
TO> NP> are roughly equal loosers though, I will probably vote my conscience
TO> NP> and write in Mickey Mouse .
Mickey Mouse is getting a few votes this year I hope that he can
handle the case load because he has a good chance of winning
several public offices around here.
TO>I know. I have never had much respect for this system of election.
TO>It seems to me that a popular vote would be much better.
TO>Take care.
I agree. the electorial college is a rediculous concept and is
probably crooked as hell but we have to prove it.
