Schumacher returns to the pitch

(24-Jul-98) - Michael Schumacher will return to the football pitch in front
of a massive television audience for a charity football match on Wednesday
against a host of celebrities.

The Ferrari ace, who plays for his local Aubonne side in Switzerland, leads
a team of "Formula One All Stars" which also includes Jorg
Muller, Esteban Tuero, Riccardo Rosset, Ivan Capelli and Gabriele Tarquini.

Their opposition, called the "RTL Allstars" includes presenters
and former footballing stars Bernd Forster, Tony Woodcock and boxers Timo
Hoffmann and Markus Beyer.

The match, in Mannheim's Carl Benz Stadium, is in aid of charity and
tickets for the 27,000 crowd are available throughout Germany.
