I had success with Dave Hamilton's *NGate* program importing newsgroups.
There is also a companion program, *MailGate* used for e-mail transfer using
SMTP protocol. Ngate is extremely easy to set up and run. MailGate requires
some work. The sendmail program that comes with os/2 will need to have its
configuration file, sendmail.uml, converted to use smtp to send mail. Best
way to get a feel is to install'em. :)
