I like sand, but to walk upon, not to eat... (no offense to grit lovers,
sorry.. it's a bit of a joke to those of us who are confessed Transplants
from the North and just can't abide by this particular delicacy.

 They do. The chain- Cracker Barrel has them. I don't know about other
 places. I'd not Recommend CB. At least not the French Toast. For shame
 for shame for shame! And not just in Texas either.

If you've ever been to Hearth and Kettle on Cape Cod, you'll know what
I mean by this. :)
