We live in a world of doubt.
We must doubt to believe, and can never know.
I have expressed that philosophy many times.
It is a truth for those who believe, and also
for those who do not believe.
But it remains belief, not knowledge,
that makes us who and what we are.

The best we can do is come up with a theory of probability.
Not of absolutes.  Nothing is ever truly black and white.

"I believe in God" is a belief.
"I know God exists" is a statement of lunacy.

Politicians make many statements that are false.
And yet, millions believe what they say.
Even if verified facts contradict what they have said.

People believe whatever they want to believe.
Whether that something is true or not.

An atheist/agnostic professes not to believe in a god.
That, in itself, is a belief.
Not actual knowledge of the existence or non-existence of a god.

Jesus did not believe in God.

And yet many people worship him as a god.

"Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father!" ~Jesus (Jn 14:6-9)

Was he who he claimed to be?

"The Father and I are one!" ~Jesus (Jn 10:30-33)
