Hi All,
Here are some different types of crochet stitches. Have fun and keep
those hooks flying! :-)
Crazy stitch:
Make a chain the length required. Work 3 dc in the 3d st from hook,
and
make 1 sc in the 3 st from the dc, to fasten the shell in place. Make a ch
of 3 st; then 3 dc in the same st with the sc, and fasten the shell with a
sc as before, in the 3d stitch from the shell. Continue to the end of the
h.
Turn the work; *make a ch of 3 st; make 3 dc in the last sc made in
the
1st row; fasten this shell by a sc in the loop formed by the ch of 3 in the
preceding row. Repeat from * to the end of the chain.
Cross stitch:
        Make a chain the length required.  Work 1 dc in the 3d st of the ch;
sk
st; make 1 dc in the next st. Now make 1 dc stitching back into the st
that has been skipped. This forms the cross.
Honeycomb stitch:
Make a ch the length required.
1st row: *Insert the hook in 3d st of ch, draw a lp thru; wrap the
threa
insert hook in next ch; draw a lp thru. Now draw a lp through all 3; ch 1,
take up the 3 lps; draw together, and make a sc over it; ch 1, and repeat
from * to end of row.
2nd row: Ch 3 st at beg of row; make the 1st lp in the sc over the
shell
of the preceding row, the 2d lp in the 1st double lp of the 2d shell, the
3d loop in the sc of the 2d shell, and proceed as before.
