Today, the weather in Toronto has been beautiful. The sun shone down 
from a cloudless sky, and the air was crystal-clear, without even a 
hint of haziness. 
  
And the UV Index was high enough the The Weather Network displayed it 
on our TV screens with a flashing red warning: "Very High". 
  
The numerical value... 8. 
  
This is the time of year when the Index gets as high as it ever does. I 
have seen it at 9, but never higher.
