Hill will not be quitting

SILVERSTONE, England (Jul 11, 1998 - 13:51 EDT) - Britain's former world
champion Damon Hill will not be quitting Formula One at the end of the
season, his team Jordan insisted on Saturday.

Hill had said that he might consider retiring if he felt he did not have a
chance of competing at the top end of the sport.

"It is utter rubbish," said a spokesman for Jordan, which is
confident Hill will be driving for the team next season.

The 37-year-old Hill goes into Sunday's British Grand Prix at Silverstone
looking for his first points of the season.
