  I'm glad you mentioned shot glasses, Joe... they worked for me, too.
  They have only a shallow water depth, and a wide air-to-surface ratio
  that permits the leaf to obtain oxygen readily, and thus, form roots.
  Leaves stuffed into deep water rot.
