I've noticed as I pull together my first Windows projects that they're
about six times the size of my biggest DOS project. I have been working
with a theory that I can do some limited optimizing by restricting the
number of bells and whistles I use for any particular project -- where
is it written that EVERYTHING has to have menu bar, pop up menus,
radiobutton dialogs, edit dialogs and so on? I think it's a little
easier on the user of my rather limited programs, too: Only one kind of
box or button to click.
Does it make much difference? Not a heck of a lot, actually.
