 I had (note past tense) a long time friend; a former neighbor for
some reason I'm not sure of - started sending me audios.. when she
KNOWS I am deaf. She started sending me some other stuff that is hate
mail and I don't know what is wrong with her. She must be going
through some sort of phase. But when I got tired of ignoring it and
asked her to stop she took offense. Sigh.

I lost touch with her since we moved and don't care anymore if she
even wants to resume contact. Anybody who can be that shallow isn't
worth the trouble of mending a burned bridge with. There was obviously
never a bridge in the first place.

Yeah I like how that goes. That experession. If you lose a
friend over something that is essentially trivial, they were never a
friend in the first place.

 I have a friend (my first dog sit client) who fled Texas (job with
Lockheed was too boring)- to go back  to Iraq, working with a logistics
group. I forget what the name of it is. I'll ask her.

 OFten 'management' is a misnomer. A friend who did temp work for a
governement agencey. Data processing told me she and others complained
to the powers that be about co workers who chatted rather loudly adn
rudley at the water cooler. Nothing was done. I think some management
people don't like to confront. Theyonly do so if they have to. In
your case as with my firend, they felt they didn't have to.

 You may not have noticed. And that is good because I do not usually
 mention it anymore. Here, in cyberspace, it does not really matter. .

 That is awesome. MY husband told me recently he picked up a co worker
who lives nearboy, to take to work. The man is blind. I did wonder how
he can' read'/hear all the complex programming.
