 Well, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving now; we celebrate it in October up
 here in Canada...But thanx for the wishes anyway...I think it's better
 the way you guys have it; it's like thanksgiving and xmas all rolled into
 one big holiday...
 What types of crafts do you like to do?
I like just about everything, except crocheting, knitting and plastic canvas.
 The reason I don't like crocheting and knitting is cuz I can't do either
 of them too well...I have a block afghan that has been started now for over
 3 years; I've got about 18 blocks done.  It is just a plain block, with one
 stitch too it; I can't do any of the other ones:-(
 I've tried plastic canvas and just find it doesn't move along to fast.  It's
 been awhile since I've tried it; and I've noticed that they have some
 really nice patterns out now...I especially like the "Precious Moments"
 patterns they have out now...But, I'll leave it to someone else...
I like to x-stitch(big time) do floral wreaths and hats, wearable art, 
eading
 and N.A. Indian crafts, jewellery making, xmas crafts, and painting on wood.
Some day real soon I am going to try some tolepainting!  I have attempted
 a couple smaller wood items with basic strokes; but nothing too technical.
 I have all the brushes, paints and books; just need some confidence in 
myself.
 I have tought myself everything else, so I guess I could give this a go
 too...I bought myself some teaching books w/patterns to help me out.
 Classes in tole and decorative painting are very expensive to take..I would
 at least have all the supplies...which can be the costly part of this craft.
 Have you ever tried tole or decorative painting?
