I have to agree with you. I have just about memorized all of the characters,
hard sign and soft sign included, but it does no good there, as they use DOS
gibberish, which is not written or read anywhere in the real world. Would be
nice if people used actual cyrillic fonts (symbols works in cyrillic, but
they don't have computers that are even of this decade to have that option)
'cause I'm not going back to 1985, technology-wise, just to participate.
It's the year two-zero-zero-four for crying out loud. Why would anybody want
a computer the age of the first Atari game systems?? Puzzles me terribly.
How many here(subscribed) are capable of actually using cyrillic fonts on
this echo? Don't clutter the bandwidth with your responses. Send replies to
jeff.macdaniels{at}fidotel.com, and I'll be more than happy to provide a
listing of users capable of doing so, as 1 message about this on the server
with all the yeahs and nays will be better for everyone, I'm sure. Thanks! I
know I'm gonna hack this up, but it's worth a try. Been about a year since I
actively spoke and interacted with the Russian speakers (Uzbekistan), but I
can promise that I try!
