 Alright Now. THAT I know. Nevada.

 Nevada, even though it's North West off Arizona's north west corner,
 the river ... well okay I cheated... because I honestly did not
know...  go study the map. AND this IS Intersting.
 
 The dam is at the head of Lake Mead. The river forms the boarder
between Neavada and Az and also AZ to CA...
