I don't know Michiel's reasoning since he has not given any. I support his
election call since I believe it is way overdue. If I understand Bjorn's
position on elections in FN_SYSOP I think it's more or less if you want an
election, do it yourself. He has also agreed that it is an election so it is
on.

If we don't get at least one more step up with a platform it is not going to
be much of an election. That's not a bad thing but I personaly prefer if we
did all vote for the candidate of our choice, then that person has a mandate
from the participants of the echo.
