Thanks Ben,

A few days ago it dawned on me that Firefox has a Extension and a
Plug-in for SiteAdvisor.

The Extension is a newer version than the Plug-in has, that is probably
why I have been seeing Grey in SiteAdvisor, I'll try updating the
Plug-in and Extension to see if I can get matched versions in both
areas.

I also noticed there was a McAfee Security Suite Plug-in that I will
discard when I Remove the Mcafee Security Suite Program.

I'm almost ready to do it - I've downloaded Avast! and Fortknox
firewall, all I need is to find that elusive ROUNDTUIT.
