SyFy Portal says that SciFi Channel "might" split it into +four+
episodes.

Four?  That would be a half-hour timeslot each.

It's how the networks make money.  You're spoiled by the BBC.  OTOH, we
don't need to pay a licensing fee/tax just to own a television.
