It came to pass on 07/21/96 that MICHAEL HOLMAN SR. wrote concerning BBS'S...

My main client is a small organisation that runs PCBoard as both a BBS
and as their address book/electronic memos. It is a similar idea to an
intranet without being one. The new Metaworlds package from the same
copany could be set up to run as an intranet as well are giving access
to the internet and would make a good firewall. A much cheeper and
simpler solution than that of setting up a private web server and
mucking around with proxy servers/firewalls.
