Do you believe Ed's belief in the Book of Mormon as being valid?

Call it trivial all you want.  But, that doesn't make it so.  

The validity of Ed's book effects the xians.  Why do you think they 
are so reticent to defend his faith and call it a branch of xianity?  

That "little bit of trivia" about the book of Mormon has the capacity 
of superceding all of xianity with Mormonism.
