subject: LAN FAQ?

following up a message from Bill Dennison to Fane:

Not sure if it's what you need, but DALCO has a 'Starter Kit' made by MaxTech
with (5) NX-16T EtherCards, an 8-port 10bT hub, RJ45/BNC/AUI, 10Mbps, 8
IRQ's, 16KB memory, and compatable with Novell NetWare, MickeySoft LAN
Manager, more... For $265 (cat #28, PN 54065). Even though it mentions all
three connections, it looks like (from the picture) that the cards are RJ45
only.
I don't know enough about LANning yet to know if this is what you need, or
not - but it looks like we both have asked some very similar questions. I'll
leave it to one of the Gurus to say whether this is for you...
Sincerely,
           Bruce - kb6lwn - ck1@pacbell.net
