I started working on a new project for Maximus. It's an NNTP server for 
Maximus that will work with the squish message base and use the information 
in user.bbs to authenticate connections. So far it's going pretty well, but 
it's still early.
I am at a point that I'd like some feedback from other users. Yes I know, you 
are sysops not users. But I'll start here and then work out later. I like to 
know which newsreader you currently use. If you could pick three readers, 
would you list them in the order of preference? I'd like to make sure that I 
offer as much compatibility with the popular newsreaders. Since the NNTP 
server will require authentication, I need to hear about NNTP clients that 
support authentication.
Also, since I run Windows NT I'd be interested in hearing from any OS/2 users 
that would be willing to help me test connections of OS/2 NNTP clients.
I'd also like to know if an NNTP server for your local message base is of any 
interest to you.
