Hmmm, I have had a busy Autumn.  The Utah Quilt Guild had their annual
meeting up in Ogden, Ut in late Sept.  Took a couple of classes and
played with my friends for three days.  Had a blast.
In Oct, a friend and I drove up to Jackson Hole, Wy for Quilting in the
Tetons.  That was fun.  If you ever get the chance to go, it is
definitely worth it.
Now that the swim season has started, I am ref'ing for the swim team at
home meets.   Our girls team has a chance of taking state this year.
I have also been elected to be the President of my local guild chapter
for '98.  Taking over the newsletter for Dec. for my friend and cohort
who is going on a cruise next week.  I have also volunteered to help with
the guild's next annual meeting which takes a lot of planning for
I also helped with the Holiday Quilt Show and Auction which benefits a
local hospital's research and education department.  One of the quilts
was auctioned off for $25,000, a new record for this event.  The three
quilts that my group had donated totaled $11,500.
I have been busy making more UFO's, and finishing a couple of smaller
UFO's.
And I still don't have a quilt on my own bed.   I have two quilts that I
am handquilting for my bed, but it is slow going.  I get sidetracked
easily.
