Yep.  I gave this a little more thought, Stewart.  While you may be able to 
redfine the key actions in a sysop editor like TimEd or MsgEd, there is 
another problem.  Maximus keeps the last read pointers for each user but a 
sysop editor usually only has one set of pointers defined-- for the sysop.  
Passing that sort of information to an external sysop editor for a number of 
users may be impossible, although I haven't really looked into it.  I think 
it'd be a lot easier to get an external user editor (such as IceEdit) to work 
correctly. ;)
