I just commented all of that out.  What's happening is that that full
command is being passed as the variable instead of just the email.

I got blat to work from the command line using:
c:\ele\blat.ele c:\ele\eletempfile.3 -t oddjob{at}ameritech.net -f
hscaggs{at}ameritech.net  -penguin -log blat.log

But it's no go when I logon and I run validate.q-a

Blat.log shows:

Sending c:\ele\eletempfile.3 to oddjob{at}ameritech.net

Login name is hscaggs{at}ameritech.net

 And eletempfile is received ok so I assume something is wrong with
validate.q-a?????
